Yes!

Jordan loves to mimic. His new thing is pumping his fists with Mike. This video doesn't do it justice...Jordan is just too cute...but you can see it. He puts everything into it when he does it - he holds his breath and pushes.

The chase is on!

Jordan has a new game he loves. He takes the dial off of his fan and brings it down the hallway while Mike chases him. Everytime he throws himself on our air mattress when he gets to our room. I'm not sure how it started, but Jordan loves to be chased. Then, they go back to his room, put it back on and do it again.

Thankfully, when we left Mike's parents' house in Utah, Mike brought a couple of their banana chairs. So, it has been good to have something to sit on. Jordan likes to sit on them too. He has figured out how to get into them and tries to rock.

Jordan has a lion puppet that he loves us to play with for him. We put it on his hand the other day and he thought it was so funny.

This was a happy day for Mike. The USA men's basketball team is playing here right now, so we went. Mike was so excited to see the best players in the NBA playing. When we got there, though, Jordan just screamed and cried every time people cheered. By the second half he didn't cry anymore, but he still jumped. During the last quarter, though, he was clapping with everyone. It was fun.

Jordan's new obsession

Jordan has recently become obsessed with the hose. He wants to play with it all the time and screams when we bring him back inside. He is really cute with it, as you can see!

What do you do when you don't have anything?

Well, there isn't too much to do here with none of our things. So, here's what we've come up with the keep a 14 month old happy with not too much.

We have a picnic breakfast, lunch, dinner, and several snacks. I don't know what Jordan is going to think about going back to his highchair!

Jordan just hangs out on the stairs. He can climb up them, but he won't try going down, which is quite the relief!

Jordan actually enjoys playing with the rocks in the backyard. The heat doesn't seem to be affecting him too much.

Mike built Jordan a fort, but he wasn't too intersted.
Jordan got a new toy, and he loves it!
Mike takes Jordan on rides around the living room on our "table."
He even wanted to flip through Mike's CD's!

The move...part 2

The second half of our move was quite adventurous. After leaving Mike's parents' house, Mike blew a tire right outside of Filmore, Utah. I guess it was actually quite lucky because there wasn't another town for a long time after that. So, we had to stop and get a tire. Then, we finally got to town and tried to set up our gas, but we had to wait until Monday to get that (we got to town on a Thursday). And, we found out a few days ago that we aren't getting our things until the 27th - 31st of this month...a week and an half after the promised date! Here are a few pictures of the trip.

Jordan grabbed one last apple off of the tree for the road.

Jordan played quite well at Big O tires while we waited.

The move...part 1

We are about half way through our move to Las Vegas. We drove for two days and have been staying in Utah with Mike's family. It has been a lot of fun to be able to relax, despite problems with the moving company (I guess that just goes with the territory!) Anyway, here are some cute pictures of Jordan from our trip so far.

This may seem ordinary - a little boy watching a Baby Einstein video - but it isn't! Jordan will not sit and watch tv at home, but on the drive he watched this and another movie. I guess he just didn't have any other choice! It made the drive a lot easier though. (By the way, he always undoes his shoes in the car - I guess he is just getting comfortable!)

Jordan being silly on the drive. He loves playing with sunglasses and we found these old ones in our cleaning and packing.

Jordan is so amazingly cute! I swear I am not biased! He is obsessed with feeding the horses here now. He learned that he picks apples off the tree and then gives them to the horses to eat. All day long he brings people shoes hoping they will take him outside (he LOVES being outside) and then he points them in the direction of the horses. Then, when we get close to the house after, he wants down and he goes to turn the hose off (they usually turn the hose on the give water to the horses while they are out, so it is part of the routine he learned!) He is so smart! We don't know what he will do when he can't feed apples to the horses anymore. Oh, and he tries to say apple now, but he just gets the a sound out.

Jordan and his aunt Heather matched! He is really silly sometimes!

Baby boy!

I had my ultrasound today...and it is a boy! We are really excited that Jordan will have a brother. He was moving around like crazy and kept kicking wherever the tech was pushing! Looks like we might have another active one. Here are my best tries at getting a picture of the best pictures.

He says hi!

Cute little profile.

Greetings!

Welcome to the Haderlie family's blog. The next few weeks will be sparce for posts as we move from Oregon to Las Vegas, but we will keep this updated as often as we can (or as often as there is something interesting to share!) In the meantime, here's a cute picture of Jordan to look at!
