Yay, we are home now! Erica and Colette are both doing great and we are just happy to be here with our family (of 5!). Erica's mom is also here and you can thank her for getting some pictures up early :) The c-section was especially tough this time. The first epidural didn't work and so Erica could still feel everything when they were starting to get her set up. So she had to get stuck in the back twice. The delivery itself went pretty smooth. We both immediately and anxiously looked to make sure she was, in fact, a girl (success). She was pretty healthy from the start, so it was nice to have no stress on that end. The rest of the surgery was difficult because Erica had some scar tissue built up from the previous c-sections so it took them a while to put her back together (she didn't get to see Colette again for about an hour). She is pretty uncomfortable from the internal beating and the incision, but she's a trooper.
Jordan and Evan are both SO excited about "the baby sister". The first night they visited, I took them down to the cafeteria at the hospital for dinner. Jordan ate only a few bites then said, "Can we go back up now, 'cause I really like the baby sister." They've been great with her. Here is a video of Evan loving life as a big brother:
