Our house

Well, here it is, our house. We feel very lucky that we found this house to rent in our price range. It is a little farther out, but I think it ends up being the best location in relation to Mike's school, other than living right there on the strip. We have really enjoyed having the space, especially Jordan. And, I am not sure why, but he is sleeping so much better here. Up until we left Oregon, he was still waking up two or three times a night. As soon as we moved here, he has been sleeping all the way through the night!
We finally received our belongings last week after a lot of trouble, several lies, and a lot of stress. Unfortunately, most of our furniture had damage to it, some completely ruined. We think they just threw our stuff on the truck that delivered it. As an aside, if any of you need to move, stay as far away as you can from King Van Lines. Anyway, we are really happy to have everything now. Jordan has enjoyed rediscovering his toys too. So, here are some pictures of our new home.





Here is the front half of the living room. Our furniture looks so small in this house, whereas it looked so huge in our apartment!


We decided to leave the back half open for Jordan to play in. We put our old dining table (they cracked the top almost in half) in there for Mike to study on until it completely breaks.

I am so excited to have a kitchen that both Mike and I can fit in.


Here are the two extra bedrooms upstairs. The laundry is on the right and the bathroom is on the left. It has been so nice to have space between wherever we are and where Jordan is sleeping so that we don't have to be so quiet.


Here is our bedroom - one of our favorite things about the house. We were able to fit all our bedroom set and the desk in there and we still have a ton of floor space. Our bathroom is just off the the left there. The closet is amazing too. We put both of our bookcases in there and a bunch of other stuff and we still can walk around in it.

Anyway, that is our house and we are loving it. It is so nice to not have shared walls anymore or anyone below to worry about my active boys disturbing.
